The Family and Community Counselling Diploma Program provides specialized training for individuals seeking to provide personal counselling and social services within Indigenous communities while respecting their cultural values and beliefs. Students are encouraged to explore their history and incorporate traditional knowledge and skills into their practice.
The program emphasizes an Indigenous worldview, students further develop critical thinking in social welfare and counselling, while also focusing on self-care and increasing self-awareness as helpers or allies to Indigenous, Métis, or Inuit Peoples.
Program Highlights
