A transcript is a record of all courses completed at NEC, including credits and grades.
Unofficial transcripts are available through NEC Self-Service for personal use. A transcript is also considered unofficial if it has been opened from its sealed Registrar envelope or altered in any way.
Official transcripts are issued by the NEC Registrar’s Office in a sealed, Registrar-stamped envelope or sent directly to another institution or organization.
Students may also request replacement certificates. Official transcripts are issued in the student’s legal name, while graduate certificates may display a preferred or chosen name upon request in recognition of cultural identity.
To request an official transcript or replacement certificate, email registrar@necvancouver.org. Outstanding obligations to NEC must be cleared before official documents can be released.
