What is Accuplacer?
Accuplacer is a computerized test that evaluates reading, writing, and math skills. It is used by many institutions for course placement. The test consists of multiple-choice questions, except for the WritePlacer essay, and adapts based on your answers. It is self-paced and untimed.

In Person: Local Applicants Only, must have an appointment at NEC Main campus, 10 AM or 1 PM, must reside within Greater Vancouver area. Contact the Admissions office at 604-873-3772 EXT 313 to schedule.
Remote: Available for out-of-town applicants only via Measure Learning/ProctorU with live proctoring. Must request a voucher below.

The first attempt is free for incoming NEC applicants. Fees may apply for retakes.
