Indigenous Tourism Operations Certificate

This program offers students the skills and knowledge to seek employment in the tourism industry. Each semester includes field experience projects and placements that will develop hands-on skills and promote networking within the tourism industry.

  • The Program is 10 month, full time with classes Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

Upon completion of the Indigenous Tourism Operations Certificate, the learner will have an understanding and appreciation:

Have the skills and knowledge to seek employment for positions in cultural tourism, ecotourism and entry-level positions in the tourism business;

Have high level of communication skills and experience in cross-cultural tourism setting;
