In British Columbia, there is a shortage of Indigenous teaching and an increasing number of Indigenous Peoples who want to further their education. Many Indigenous learners have limited resources to attend college, your contribution could make difference in their lives and for future of Indigenous communities.
What matters to Indigenous peoples in education is that students have the opportunity to develop their gifts in a respectful space. NEC graduates are able to contribute to their community and society with strengthened identity and well-being, connections to land and teachings, recognizing their inherent right to self-direction.
We welcome Indigenous and non-Indigenous students.
Graduates from NEC are genuinely improving the lives of Indigenous communities and future generations.
NEC welcomes support from amazing individuals like you to help fundraise and provide quality education for Indigenous Nations.
All of these donated funds will be used to support Indigenous students’ education through scholarships and free books.
Whether you are an experienced volunteer or just getting started, your participation can help NEC achieve its goals.
NEC is grateful for the generosity of our many allies, funders and community partners. Thank you on behalf of the entire NEC community to all of the individuals, companies, groups, government agencies, corporations, and other community organisations who provide assistance.
