The Office Administration & Employment Training Certificate Program provides Indigenous learners with technical, workplace and administrative skills for today's evolving office environment. The program includes a four-week practicum and prepares students for a range of office administration roles.

Program Overview

The 7-month Office Administration & Employment Training Certificate Program includes a 4-week practicum and provides a pathway to meaningful employment.

Students develop the technical and workplace skills needed to navigate today's fast-paced and technology-driven office environments, including communication, time management, organization and administrative skills.

Through hands-on workplace experience, students gain insight into professional expectations and office dynamics while building the skills and confidence needed to pursue a range of office administration roles.

Practicum

The program includes a four-week practicum that provides students with hands-on workplace experience and an opportunity to apply their learning in a professional environment.

Career Opportunities

Graduates may pursue administrative roles in government, private organizations, Indigenous organizations and other professional office environments.

Learning Outcomes

Through hands-on experiential learning, students develop computer application, communication and administrative skills.

Students also develop teamwork, interpersonal and critical thinking skills for diverse social and professional environments, while setting personal and professional goals and developing skills to navigate the workforce.
