Program Description

The program provides students with a pathway to employment as a workplace technology support specialist. The certificate is a sound basis for further education and impactful careers in technology systems in business and community settings. A critical analysis of cultures and communities allows graduates to further their leadership skills in building digital infrastructure.

Occupation upon Completion

The Information Technology Support Technician certificate program provides training for entry into the Workplace Technology Support Specialist position. In this occupation, you may use established systems and protocols to install, troubleshoot and configure enterprise computer software and network devices. You may also deliver online presence and support for medium and small businesses. Other names for this occupation are Computer Network Technician, User Support Technician. Related occupations are Database Administrator, Information Systems Testing Technician and Computer and Information Systems Manager.
