Sandra is Eagle clan from the Haida Nation. She graduated from UVic from the "Administration in Aboriginal Governments" diploma program. She currently on the Council of Haida Nation. She is a member of the Git Hyetsk dancegroup. She also does traditional and contemporary artwork and is learning both cedar bark weaving and the Haida language.
