Louise is a proud member of the Musqueam Indian Band which is located at the mouth of the Fraser River. She is a mother of one son and a grandmother to her grandson. She has been very active in her community throughout her professional life.
Louise has taking business training at the Academy of Learning. Louise completed the following programs at Native Education College Early Childhood Education and Applied Business Technology. Louise has also trained in Community Development with Salishan Institute.
Louise has been involved with the aboriginal communities of the lower mainland for many years. She has worked in a wide variety of fields such as: Recreation Worker, Event Planner, Educator, Community Worker, Youth & Cultural Worker, Administration and Home Care Taker. Louise volunteered her time with the Sulsila Lelum Healing Centre Board and other committees in Musqueam and Squamish Nation.
Louise has done Personal Growth Training with Choices Seminar for many years.
Louise is currently an Executive Assistant whom she helps to manage commercial fishing companies, office duties, dealing with corporate accounting records and consulting with clients.
Louise’s areas of interests include Culture, Education and Community Development.
